Sabu Francis is an architect from India. A 1984 graduate of IIT Kharagpur; he has expertise in various areas including architecture, programming, teaching, writing and music.

In 1991, he won a special award for excellence in architectural research from the Journal of the Indian Institute of Architects for discovering a unique taxonomy for representing architecture. Apart from IP in architectural software; he also has intellectual properties concerning music, email usage, etc.

He is also a founder member of ACAAR, which is a forum to look into architectural representation systems. He has done some amount of work in the A.I. language; Visual Prolog, and his tutorials can be read at http://www.visual-prolog.com/vip/tutorial/ He was the chairperson of the Navi Mumbai Centre of Indian Institute of Architects for the 2008-2010 term. He is also an avid guitarist and founder member of a music appreciation group called Music Liberation Union at Navi Mumbai, India.
