La Roca de Tiza, a romantic three room mountain home, the perfect wedding reception and anniversary location, is a hidden gem on five wooded acres. On the bank of Chalk Creek, the view of the Chalk Cliffs is spectacular. Due to our location in the 'Banana Belt' of Colorado, we have cool, sunny summer days and mild winter sun-drenched afternoons.
La Roca's interior is casually elegant with an exposed post and beam construction. The two fireplaces are wonderful areas around which to chat, relax and enjoy the peace of the valley. You may wish to walk to the creek, simply swing on the deck, or enjoy the hot tub filled with water from our hot water well. We are in Chalk Creek Canyon, truly nestled between 14,000 foot peaks, in the San Isabel National Forest.
In the morning, a full mountain breakfast will be served in the dining room or on the deck. If you have special dieting needs, we will provide assistance. A variety of packed lunches to take with you for the day can be provided for a small additional charge.
