Blue Shark Media (BSM) is a home-based business located in Elkton, MD. It is mostly a "one-man" show. I don't know everything, but I know and hire people who do. Even more importantly I know how to communicate with those people, translating ideas into "computer speak" and vice-versa.
Think of BSM as a general contractor for websites. Just as you have plumbers, electricians, and carpenters when building a house, you need a team of people when building a website. The internet has evolved into a complex place with many different disciplines. There's graphic designers who make sites look attractive and communicate through pictures and colors. There's database gurus who do the hardcore programming to make sites dynamic and flexible. Writers are responsible for making text succinct and understandable. Marketing and promotion on the internet has become a whole separate industry.
As you can see there are many things to consider when building a website. You might not need all of them but it's nice to work with someone who knows how to do it better, faster, and cheaper.
