- In 1986 Troy Apprill began his career as a performer, singing, twisting balloons and riding a unicycle at St. Louis Union Station. Shortly thereafter, he established a cart business, Balloonville, USA at the Station. During the next few years, he expanded his services considerably, specializing in Balloon gift-wrap, Arrangements, Deliveries, Sculptures, and Classic Balloon Decor. He joined the Qualatex® Balloon Network (QBN) and continued to apply his balloon talents to the CBA (Certified Balloon Artist) test series created by Pioneer Balloon Company ®. Troy achieved the CBA designation in August 1996 at the International Balloon Arts Convention (IBAC 11) in Chicago. As a balloon artist, Troy specializes in entertaining, consulting, and instruction / education for Distributors, Florists, and new balloon companies.
