NotAtSXSW.com is the non-conference for those not at SXSW
For some, the South By Southwest (SXSW) festival is biggest event of the year. For others, it's well...not.
For everyone staying home this year, notatsxsw is our way to share the experience and create our own "non-conference," if you will.
How can you participate?
Through notatsxsw, we can build a collective memory of what it's like to not go and deal with all the pomp and circumstance, and have an awesome time doing it.
- Tweets and Photos
Since we're all staying home rather than going, let's share what we're up to with 140 characters on Twitter and tag our photos (on Flickr or elsewhere) with the hashtag #notatsxsw. Email your notatsxsw photos to the official site to help us collect them too.
- NotAtSXSW Events
In every city except Austin, we'll organize some kick-ass events to celebrate the lack of expensive airfare, hotels, and hubbub. Check events listings like Upcoming.org and Calagator to rsvp for a notatsxsw get together, and be sure to follow @notatsxsw on Twitter to stay up on the cool news from those staying home.
