Karas Technical was founded in 1986 to provide specialized voice annunciated monitoring and control products for industrial and commercial applications. Over the years, Karas Technical has become more involved with law enforcement requirements through its work in land mobile communication services. In 1987 Karas Technical built its first alarm product based on solid state voice synthesis, a reliable product but limited by it's fixed vocabulary.
