Just put two square brackets [[ ]] around the word(s) you want to link. You may not know that a link exists for the word(s) when you add brackets. This in essence is accidental linking. Whenever you feel a concept should have a page of its own put brackets around it. If the resulting word(s) are red you can start creating that page or leave it for someone else to create at a later date. If the word(s) are blue then that page already exists and you have accidentally created a link.
