Basically, transparency means that we have nothing to hide and in fact have a lot to gain by putting as much information out to the public as possible. By doing this, we get feedback from as many perspectives as possible--allowing us to refine our ideas or correct our course. This is part of building the commons.

So, we publish notes to our meetings, we use open source coding, and we look forward to the improvements that come from engaging the community in our efforts.
