We are Kate & Lois, two grand (in our opinion) Texas ladies. We want to share with you our wonderful Texas artisans and their hand made crafts. We have worked very hard to make sure that you can enjoy our website, and easily find your way around.
For years, as the Christmas season drew neigh, we would search the Internet in vain for Texas gift items for our "long lost" relatives in Minnesota. We discovered their was very little high quality merchandise available, and virtually none at an affordable price. By "affordable", we mean $50.00 or less.
Like you, we don't have a lot of time for that perfect gift. We hate going to malls at Christmas; too many people, really high prices and worst of all, so- called "Texas" items are mostly not made in Texas -- or even the USA!
