About the Company

Servers Australia is a 100% Australian owned and run company. They were established in 2006 and since then have become one of the leading Web Hosting companies in Australia.

They boast four data centres. One is located just north of Sydney, on the Central Coast, while two others are in Sydney and one is in Penrith.

The data centres are:

  • Tuggerah (SAU DC1)
  • Global Switch
  • Equinix
  • DC1 Penrith

In 2007, Servers Australia was placed in the Top 5 Web Hosting Companies in Australia. They are a company run by 9 staff, all located in Tuggerah. They chose to utilise the most powerful parts in the industry, giving them the fastest servers in the country. They were the first (and currently the only web hosts) to provide Intel E5 CPUs in their virtual servers. Any order can be customised to house whatever part someone might want.

About

Data Centres

SAU DC1 - Tuggerah

The Tuggerah Data Centre is an out of city data centre that is located close enough to Sydney to provide high speed, low latency connections, but also far enough away to mitigate exposure to infrastructure attacks and disasters in the CBD. This location is also where the office is located, so if any issues arrive, staff can easily check out the servers within seconds.

Equinix

This data centre is located close to the Central Business District and with access to the Southern Cross Cable Head. This data centre is backed by state of the art security, network connectivity and with redundant power. Servers Australia has a secure, private suite for access only by Servers Australia's customers. This suite is protected with a biometric scanner and is monitored around the clock by motion sensitive cameras. As well as high security measures, the data centre's humidity and temperature are constantly monitored.

Global Switch

The Global Switch data centre is located in Ultimo, just outside the CBD in Sydney. It is classified as one of the highest quality data centres in the state, so much so that government agencies host their equipment there. Global Switch also has high security measures in place for your mission critical colocation needs.

SAU DC1 - Tuggerah

Servers Australia's Penrith 'Penrith DC1' was custom built to provide high quality production & disaster recovery data centre space to people located in Western Sydney. Our strategic positioning in Penrith allows us to provide high speed, low latency (3ms from Sydney) network connectivity to our customers.
