Peerless has been providing solutions to laboratory automation requirements using robotic and non-robotic techniques since 1982.
Automation packages have been provided to most laboratory disciplines including environmental control, fertiliser and plant analysis, high throughput screening, detergent research and development, combinatorial chemistry and an intensive variety of packages to the pharmaceutical and nuclear industries.
Peerless Systems, headquartered in England, addresses laboratory customers across Europe and the USA.
Exciting Times at Peerless Systems Ltd
In November 2008 Peerless was taken over by the Whitely Murphy Group. John Parkin and Moira Lamb the previous owners, who had built up the company over the last 26 years, decided the time was right to sell the company so they could both enjoy retirement.
The Whitely Murphy group also owns Orwin International one of the largest automation companies in the UK. Peerless have now relocated to within the Orwin international building and have its own specially designed offices and assembly area. Peerless can now also call on Orwins vast resources which include large on-site machine and fabrication shops. The 'Peerless team' are still together and will still produce the same high standard equipment, but now have scope for even bigger and better laboratory automation.
