- Originally known as the Leicester Independent Producer's Association, Line Out began in 1981 organising festivals of short movies made on Super 8mm film. Twenty-two years later and Line Out still organises an annual short film and video festival, along with other screenings of locally produced movies, film-making courses, equipment hire and a host of other activities described on this web site.
