About this Site:
History: Insanitor.com started as an internet site about abortion with discussions and debates about abortion in our forum. It was supposed to feature a video about partial birth abortion, but the owners of the rights to the video apparently were more concerned with selling the video to make money instead of getting maximum exposure of their video on our site so as to help their supposed "cause". Since then, we are simply providing a forum where the subject of abortion is allowed as is any other subject, but abortion is no longer the main theme of this website. Recently, we have attracted attention due to a tutorial on how to setup an FTP server, so now, our main purpose is simply the free exchange of information. We encourage the posting of hard to find, but valuable technical information on the forums on this website.
Software: I'm a big fan of open source development so this site was built from mostly open source products. I always wished that webmasters would have a list of what products were used to compose their site so here is my list of what makes this site run....
Hardware: The site is running on a home built server. It's an ABIT-BP6 motherboard with two ppga 366mhz Celeron processors that are each overclocked to 550mhz. It was built from parts bought from http://www.advanceddesignky.com/ which is a really great place for hardware. The web site is sitting on a 17gig UDMA/33 hard drive and there is 128mb of physical ram in the system.
