Before starting the company, Sheila was and still is involved in her husband's construction business along with financing, bookkeeping, and tax prep. She also has a BBA in accounting from Texas A&M, Commerce. Sheila and her husband, Terry, also own and operate Hunter Ranch and raise Brangus and Brahman cattle. This background gives her a good understanding of all areas of the real estate market.
