Huffman-Wright is based in Southern Douglas County near Canyonville Oregon. The company was formed out of a small family logging business by Ralph Huffman and Roger Wright in 1956. Today it is one of Oregon’s largest logging companies. A cat, rigging for a gin pole for log loading, a couple of power saws, and a pickup were about the extent of the entire operation in the early days. We employed between one to two people on a part time basis.
