Greenland Tourism was founded in 1991 with the prime purpose of promoting a sustainable tourism which Greenland can live from and with, and which helps to encourage a Greenlandic identity and maintain the country's cultural values.
Greenland Tourism Main Office is situated in Nuuk and handles product and structure development, consultancy, analysis, documentation, internal marketing and international cooperations. In Copenhagen, Greenland Tourism Information Office takes care of external marketing, distribution and the information flow to the press, travel agencies and private individuals.
