About GraceGifts
I have been a woodworker for over twenty years. I am not particularly skilled, but I very much enjoy it. Two years ago, I began to investigate the price and availability of laser engraving equipment. Laser engraved text and clipart on the right kinds of wood are absolutely beautiful. Laser engraved photographs on wood are quite striking, and I rarely encounter anyone who has ever seen them. Photos of babies, brides and homes are amazing to laser engrave. I work from a digital image, sometimes a scan of an existing photograph. My laser equipment is computer guided, and I usually engrave at very high resolution (600-1200 dpi). It takes longer, on very expensive equipment, but the results are worth it. A quotation, poem, song or tribute looks amazing deeply engraved on richly finished wood. Check the examples under text. I hope to hear from you.
