Friedman Inustries was incorporated in Texas in 1965 as a result of the consolidation of three family-owned corporations formed in1956, which in turn were the outgrowth of a steel business begun in 1939 in El Dorado, Arkansas by Mendel Friedman, the father of Messrs.Jack and Harold Friedman. The Company's principal executive offices are located at 4001 Homestead Road, Houston, Texas 77026. Friedman Industries is currently listed on the American Stock Exchange, symbol (FRD).
