- A little bit of History
- I started flying Slope gliders on the South Downs near Brighton in the early 90s. Dad and I would disappear for most of the afternoon almost every weekend unless the weather was really bad - and sometimes when it was really bad! In the later years when the wind didn't blow we flew power. I believe this early start in gliding greatly improved my flying skills. The secret of gliding is to be smooth and accurate - something I believe should be present in all types of flying.
