Owner Burkhard Fink learned the craft of log home building in his native Austria and built custom homes in Europe. He brought his skills and passion for log home building to Canada, founding Fink Custom Log Homes in 1991. Burkhard believed that the enduring qualities of a laminated beam home so popular in Europe were waiting to be discovered by North American home builders.
