Essendon Network for Employment and Training

Description

ENET is committed to the principle of maximising each unemployed person's potential to gain employment and/or the training needed to give them a better place in society. We aim to provide a relevant and responsive service that supports the empowerment and self-reliance of the individual. ENET is a member of community-wide partnerships dedicated to helping the unemployed and those in need of improved skills. Our partnerships include North West Work Net, Job Futures and Jobs Australia. With more than 20 years of successful service delivery, we are very much a part of your community. Whether you're looking for work, seeking a traineeship, wanting to improve your literacy, or looking to do some short courses, contact ENET today to see how we can help you.

ENET is a not-for-profit organisation that began in 1975 as one of the first CYSS (Community Youth Support Service) schemes in Australia, designed to help unemployed and disadvantaged youth. It was located at 33a Taylor St, Moonee Ponds. Since then ENET has grown into a larger training organisation, still with close links to the community. In 2001, ENET moved to its current location at 41 Hall St, Moonee Ponds.
