Election UK is brought to you by Albedo Systems Ltd. This is our third time on bat for an internet general election - we helped cover the 1997 general election as part of a consortium of firms, and contributed substantial parts of the 2001 Daily Telegraph election site. So we couldn't resist going for the hat trick.
This site, at launch, is rather basic. Firstly, we have eschewed fancy graphics in favour of rapidly downloadable, if rather severe, pages. Our focus has been simply on the statistics - for analysis of policies and personalities, a wide range of excellent sites will be weighing in over the coming weeks. You will find them, as we put them up, on our links page.
