Catoctin Mountain Trains and Hobbies is located in Thurmont, Maryland, midway between Frederick, Maryland and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. We'd be delighted to have you visit us and encourage you to enjoy the restaurants and other attractions in our small town located near US Route 15. Thurmont has approximately 3,500 residents, a number of delicious country restaurants, small shops and is a great launching point for exploring the Catoctin Mountains and parks.
We'd like you to see our store, but make it a point to participate at numerous shows throughout the year in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia. We especially like the Greenberg shows and many of the smaller, local exhibitions in our area.
We're the owners of Catoctin Mountain Trains and Hobbies. After a year of preparation, help from our friends & our children - Wendy & Chip - we opened CM Trains on September 1, 1990. Since opening, we take pride in keeping the best selection of new and old trains available to collectors and hobbyists like you.
