History
Cenex Harvest States was founded in 1998, when 2 provincial cooperatives, Cenex Inc. and Harvest States Cooperatives were merged together to become an integrated agro foods system which linked producers directly to the consumers. CHS Foods and Processing
CHS Foods are in a joint endeavor with Mitsui & Co. Ltd., under the name Ventura Foods. It’s one of the largest in the manufacturing, packaging and marketer of edible oil-based foodstuffs which includes butter blends and margarine, sauces, salad dressings and vegetable oils with over $2 billion annually in sales. It is growing rapidly in the field of processor and also packaged-foods, and markets in almost every channel in the food industry ranging from wholesale and distributors to supermarkets, restaurant chains and convenience stores.
Processing

Transportation
