In 1972 Oleta and Randy Corry began designing and handmaking leather purses, backpacks, and belts in Western Colorado. In February of 1973 we opened a retail store in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, which we called Martha’s Vineyard Gallery. With the opening of our online store and a change in retail locations in 2004, we changed our name to Canyon Leathers. We continue to operate as Canyon Leathers. In November 2008, we closed our retail store and moved to southeastern Idaho.
