Brenton Story
Brenton Smith founded Brenton Engineering in Carlos, MN, in 1987, with himself as the only employee. Initially he had an idea for a new product, a cable-car lift for the steep banks of the lakeshore. Not longer after, Smith was asked to manufacture a custom packaging machine. Orders for these specialty machines continued to come in, thus setting the tone for the company’s future.

Our commitment to our customers has resulted in many innovative designs suited to handle a broad range of products.
