Description
Belit-ili was started by Lili and Freeman, a couple from Birmingham, Alabama. Lili has always been very crafty. One night she went into a beading trance and made several very fine necklaces, which she placed with a local shop on consignment.
Meanwhile, Freeman was rediscovering the wild properties of shaman stones and other minerals and wishing there were a good local source for them. A few more ideas, a lot more work, and the informal collaboration shaped up as a business.
We've been to several festivals as merchants (Birmingham Pagan Pride Day, Fall Fling, Moondance, and Samhain at Dragon Hills), Starfest with Emerald Rose, and we're looking forward to more festivals in the future. We have a few more items at the festivals that we don't sell online, too.
