About the Foundation
Education is now the great fault line that determines who is part of the American dream. The B-CC High School Educational Foundation in Bethesda, Maryland takes steps to ensure that public education delivers its promise and gives all students the skills they need to flourish and succeed. A high quality education is a lifetime gift.
Overview
To further the tradition of excellence for today's and tomorrow's students, the Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School community of parents, alumni, teachers, along with the business community and civic leaders formed the B-CC High School Educational Foundation. The purpose of the Foundation is to raise funds to finance projects that will contribute to the B-CC High School Renaissance and enhance academic excellence. It is a tax exempt charitable foundation with a nonprofit 501(c)(3) designation.
Organizational Structure
The Foundation is run by a Board of Directors that includes alumni, current and former B-CC parents, retired teachers, community and business leaders. The Board approves all major actions such as fundraising and allocation of funds.
