Amanith Mission

Amanith borns to give developers a free and powerful framework, suitable to be used as a common platform for vector graphics development and applications. We started wondering why community is able to release tens of IM programs, tens of text editors, tens of command line tools, tens of mp3 player, but it can't release tens of CAD/CAM software, tens of authoring applications (like Flash, Shockwave), tens of 3d modelling & animation tools (like Maya, 3dsMax) and so on. We believe that the lack of a wide range of these application kinds in the OpenSource world, is due to the lack of good dedicated libs and frameworks. With Amanith we wish to provide community the right answer.
