- Deborah Olsen earned a degree in journalism from the University of New Mexico and, as we like to say, "knows the business." She has spent time as a reporter, photo editor, editor and publisher. She has received awards for her work from the Associated Press and the Colorado Press Association. The latter gave her a “Best News Photo in Colorado” award during her coverage of the 1994 Good News Building explosion. But Deb says she is most proud of winning the Ski Association’s “White Stag Award” for ski journalism.
