Responsibilities

• Take leadership in small teams to create new functionality in well tested code
• Accept shared ownership of our entire production code-base
• Promote team learning

Competencies

• Demonstrated Ruby on Rails experience
• Demonstrated JavaScript experience
• Effectiveness in small team and startup environment
• Works well in Agile development team
• Ability to identify, evaluate, and deploy open-source solutions where applicable in a MySQL / Linux environment
• Strong software development background, familiar with all aspects of the software development life cycle
• Previous experience in web-based system architecture design and development

Work will include the following:

• Researching and writing articles that describe general topics, websites, or that answer specific questions
• Helping members of the community build content on the wiki
• Promoting collaborative culture and wiki values by actively interacting with other community members
• Creating Deluxe AboutUs Articles about websites
