The sister site to 101holidays.co.uk 101 Short Breaks is the second travel inspiration website from 101 Holidays. It offers 101 ideas for holidays of between one and four nights stay, all recommended by the editors, Mark Hodson and David Wickers.
Hodson and Wickers met while working as travel writers on The Sunday Times in London. Wickers was Chief Travel Correspondent and twice named Travel Writer of the Year.
The site aims to combine expert travel recommendations with innovate visual search: users hover over a grid of images to discover attractive destinations and places to stay.
The site features holidays in the UK, Europe and beyond and combines popular destinations such as Venice and Disneyland Paris with many lesser known places such as the Soca Valley in Slovenia and Riga in Latvia.
It features expensive breaks - including a private jet to France - along with budget ideas such as renting a VW Camper Van in the West Country of England and taking a working holiday with the National Trust.
