Description
The League is a member of the Soccer Sevens Development Association which is an organisation created by the Coaching Department of the Scottish Football Association with the aim of developing the small sided game which is designed to meet the needs of children between 5 and 12 years of age.
Too often, the focus within children's football has been the result of the game and the winning of the tournament, cup or medal. The ethos of the League and the SSDA is one which promotes fun and learning and measures success in terms of enjoyment as well as the fostering of skill devlopment, and is more likely to interest and motivate a young player and thereby enhance his or her progress.
