- The Lord Jesus Christ gave this ‘Great Commission’ to His Church because He desired that people of all nations (tribes, tongues, peoples and lands) would become His followers.
- Although many Christians and churches rightly seek to reach their own community, and work among people with whom they are familiar, they know very little about other peoples and nations. The result is that the ‘Great Commission’ to reach all nations often becomes the ‘Great Omission’.
