The Academies Enterprise Trust is currently involved in a period of public consultation on proposals to establish two new Academies in the London Borough of Enfield (currently Turin Grove School and Gladys Aylward School), as well as one in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (Shene School). The London Development Agency is the proposed joint sponsor for the new Academies at Turin Grove and Gladys Aylward; to be part of a new network of Mayoral Academies.
