A user group is a type of club focused on the use of a particular technology, usually (but not always) computer-related.[1] People get together more or less regularly (depending on the group) to help each other solve problems, develop in new directions or just socialize with like-minded folks. This page also includes some professional groups focused on particular areas of computer software.
