My name is Trapper Markelz. I am an internet professional specializing in solution planning and application design. I dabble in web design and development and do a little freelance on the side to keep myself sharp. My youth was spent growing up in Homer, Alaska working in my father's marine engine shop, playing sports, biking, camping and the various other things that keep a young man busy. After attending college in New York, I now live on the north side of Chicago, IL with my wonderful wife Maureen and my daughter Hannah.
I have over 5 years of experience in the internet industry designing and building applications for a wide range of employers and clients. I am currently employed with Spencer Stuart, the worlds leading executive search firm, as a Senior Project Manager of Application Development.
This purpose of this site is to serve as repository for my online and offline activities and ideas. I try and update it as often as I can, more for myself than for anyone actively reading it.
