- Well…. a little while back was working with a crew of folks on the graveyard shift doing the support thing. It was a time period where there were some equipment upgrades being done by the company in a certain area. The clients in the area had received a decent sized warning and there was a recorded message stating what was going on. Clients still called in constantly, despite all the warnings/advisories and already having called multiple times. Frustrated one of the crew just said “Why don’t we just send those people to a extension with a monkey, who just makes noises into the phone. We could just transfer them to the Outage Monkey.”
