About Us
Oblation Papers & Press is an old-world letterpress print shop in Portland, Oregon, specializing in custom wedding invitations and baby announcements. Oblation Papers produces handmade 100 percent cotton paper. The Oblation staff uses raised type and images in its antique presses. The result is an elegant impression on each hand-fed sheet of paper.
Ron and Jennifer Rich founded Oblation Papers & Press in 1989. The Riches opened a retail store nine years later in Portland's Pearl District. The shop sells Italian correspondence stationery, fine fountain pens, distinctive paper from around the world, handmade greeting cards and more.
