The Million Dollar Wiki is the first pay-per-page model of a wiki. Creator Graham Langdon, a senior student at the University of Connecticut, hopes to sell 10,000 pages ($100 each) to generate a Million Dollar in sales.
Two years after the success of the Million Dollar Homepage, all copy-cat sites have fallen short, including Alex Tew's second try, "Pixelotto". The one missing ingredient these novelty homepages left out is content. Without content, visitors have had no reason to come back. The Million Dollar Wiki has a promising start with over 450 sales and a growing community of page owners who are in control of the content posted on their page.
