- The Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation (MEAF) is a small foundation with a big mission: To help make Changes for the Better for the one-out-of-five Americans of student age who have physical, mental, or learning disabilities. Toward this goal, MEAF has supported a wide range of nonprofit organizations throughout the US since its establishment in 1991. MEAF's material resources are limited, but we can also count on the abundant human resources of our volunteer Board of Directors, expert Advisory Committee, and the energy and good will of the thousands of Mitsubishi Electric US company employees.
