The genesis of the name 'majordojo'
One day when I had plagued myself with trying to come up with a domain name for a project I was working on, the word 'dojo' just popped into my head for some reason. I immediately took a liking to the word and began to play with various combinations of the word 'dojo' and other words. At some point 'major-dojo' entered my feeble little mind, and because it sounded so familiar (probably because of its similarity to the word 'majordomo') the word stuck and majordojo was born.
What is majordojo?
Majordojo is a web site maintained by Byrne Reese and its primary purpose is to be a showcase for his work, hobbies and various interests. In essence, it is a living and constantly evolving portfolio.
