About Us

Makool is an independent clothing label in Portland, Oregon. Founded in early 2000 by designer Anisa Makhoul. Anisa studied fine art, sewing and print making since childhood and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Recently she was fired from her job writing fortune cookies, so now she devotes all of her time to her clothing line.
