Kookyplan is designed to help entrepreneurs develop successful business plans, and to put those plans into action.
No matter what business you are thinking about starting, there will always be someone there who will tell you that its a bad idea. That its never going to work, or that its, "kooky", "out of the ordinary, unusual, atypical, avant-garde, bizarre, crazy, curious, deviant, different, eccentric, erratic, exceptional, extraordinary, fantastic, far out, freaky, funny, idiosyncratic, irregular, kinky, kooky, oddball, offbeat, outlandish, peculiar, quaint, rare, remarkable, singular, spacey, strange, uncanny, uncommon, unconventional, unique, unusual, way out, weird, or whimsical".
In business, no matter what your idea, no matter how good it is, there will always be people who will call your ideas "kooky". What do you think they said about Apple computer, or Skype, or google? If someone calls you idea "kooky" just smile and say "thank you"...and get to work...you're probably on to something.
Entrepreneurship Ideas
Did you ever have an idea that you thought could change the world? You wished that you had the time / money / connections to make it happen, and even though you thought about it...you knew you would never get around to actually doing it? If so, then this is the site for you! I have tons of ideas that I think are really great, but I know in my heart that I will never have time to do them all (or even a handful of them). So, rather then hoarding them all in my little binder of ideas, Ive decided to publish them, and allow other people to read them (and hopefully turn them into successful businesses one day!). My dream is that other people might read these ideas one day, and get inspired to take action. Im going to put a digital signature on each of my original ideas, with a link to my profile on LinkedIn, so if you want to contact me, and ask me any questions about my ideas (how it would work, etc), please feel free to do so. I guess in a way, this will function as my own creative resume of ideas. I hope in time that other people will also want to add their ideas to this site, and that we can togther make this a giant collection of really great ideas.
Did you ever wish the packaging on a bottle was easier to open? Or, that your remote control would operate all of your appliances? Or, did you ever wish that somebody would design a product to do XYZ ? If you have an idea that you think you might turn into a business one day, then by all means...keep it secret. But, if you know that you will never do it...then, please...share it with the world, and let’s make it happen! My idea is that any wanna-be entrepreneur could use this site as a resource for idea finding. The rest of us can use this site as a means of venting all of our really great ideas that we wish somebody else would implement!

- Button for the radio in your car that would record the title and author of the song. Create a small button that a driver would press whenever they heard a song that they wanted to remember. Then that little button-like device could be plugged into a computer with a USB connection and automatically connected to iTunes, or another store for purchase...
- Create a specialized education program focusing on private banking in Miami. Following the concepts of Porter and the necessity of "clusters", I recognize that Miami is in need of a specialized business training facility that focuses on creating the future employees of the private banking community...
- Cell phone translation service that could be used by business travelers to China, or other countries. When you want to get something translated, you text message to the service, and wait for a response either by text message, or by a phone call. You can put it on speaker phone to tell the taxi driver where to go...
- Franchise a chain of barbershops for men. Code name = "boober -shop". My wife hates the code-name, (please, dont really call it this!), but I think the idea is quite good. You should create a barbershop, but make it a place where normal guys can go and get a haircut from an attractive female. No more being man-handled by the guy who works at Super Cuts. No more paying crazy prices to go to women’s beauty salons. My idea is to take the Starbucks concept and create a cool, relaxing place. The prices might be a little high, but like Starbucks, people come for the experience.

Business model analysis Have you ever wondered..."How in the heck does Xyz Company make money?". Think about google.com, or any of their online cousins... Do you have any idea about how they make money? If you are like me, and you enjoy thinking about various business models, then you might enjoy this new wiki-website. I am very hopeful that others might want to use this forum to discuss the pros and cons of various business models that are out there. Its been said that "The key to a companies success lies in creating value for its customers, and distinguishing itself from its competitors". How do these companies accomplish this task? The page is pretty decent as is, however a few small pictures in front of the sections you have listed such as Entreprenuership ideas and business library..I might also add an external links section towards the bottom of the page.
