Why Hot 102.7 Detroit sucks:
Hot 102.7 Detroit and their staff are losers and liars. They screw over the same families in need that they claim to support.
Early December of 2007 Hot 102.7 Detroit was looking for someone to donate a computer to the Johnson family for the holiday season. On Hot 102.7's radio show Big Keith claimed that whomever donated said computer would receive some great Pistons tickets. Well, we not only donated the computer to the Johnson family, we let them actually pick which setup they wanted and had it shipped directly to them from CircuitCity.com. When we called to pledge our support we informed Hot 102.7 Detroit's marketing staff that we wanted the Johnson's to also be sent our Pistons tickets. After we donated the computer we did not receive any further communication from Hot 102.7 Detroit, Radio One or any radio station staff.
Hot 102.7 has now denied that Big Keith ever offered Pistons tickets to the donor and refuses to send the Johnson family their set of tickets. If Hot 102.7 screwed us over it wouldn't be such a big deal; however, they didn't, they screwed over the Johnsons who we're sure would have truly enjoyed seeing the Pistons play.
We have attempted many times to contact the CEO of Radio One via email and phone. We have also attempted to resolve this issue with Hot 102.7's staff though they don't care at all about their word or the family they were trying to help.
Please help the Johnson family by contacting Hot 102.7 Detroit and letting them know how much they suck.
