 1. Client supplies a rough sketch and dimensions of what they want. 2. Christian reviews the client's ideas and contacts the client to discuss design and timber options. 3. If the price is within the client's budget, Christian supplies drawings to scale with a written quotation. 4. Drawings are agreed upon or attuned and timber selected. 5. One third deposit is made with the balance due on delivery, which is usually six - eight weeks later. |

Christian Cole, the man behind the furniture, was born in Australia. He was always an active outdoors kid who loved surfing, fishing and being with nature. He fell in love with timber and the individual characteristics of it. He genuinely loves the warmth, character and endurance of timber.
I absolutely love what I do so when a customer acknowledges the work I have put into their piece I feel great! Lots of our customers have become friends because I have made more than one piece for them. I put myself in their shoes - most people know what they want and they want it done perfectly. They can't make it themselves so they have to rely on me. I look after them.
Christian Cole
As Christian had always wanted to work with his hands, he started an apprenticeship as a cabinet and furniture maker when he was 15. He works mainly with reclaimed native Australian timbers for ecological reasons, including demolished bridges, wharves, woolsheds, dead logs struck by lightening, trees which died from lack of water due to drought and so on. He has expert knowledge of timbers, techniques and finishes, resulting in complete client satisfaction.
Christian loves to think about what each tree, often more than four centuries old, has endured. Out of respect to the timber, he preserves it in the form of a timeless, everlasting piece of furniture to be given many more years of life for all to appreciate. Christian collects his own timber to ensure uniqueness, integrity and optimal preparation during the furntiure making process.
