CBOnline - Entry Point to Community Broadcasting in Australia
Description
Initiatives which come under the banner of the CBOnline Project include the CBOnline website, Community Broadcasting Database, Community Access Network and Digital Delivery Network.
A number of these initiatives are managed by the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) in consultation with the National Ethnic and Multicultural Broadcasters Council of Australia (NEMBC), RPH Australia (RPHA), the Australian Indigenous Communications Association (AICA) and the Association of Christian Broadcasters (ACB).
Community Broadcasting Database
The Community Broadcasting Database is an online database through which information on the activities and operations of community stations can be collected. It is the first initiative of its kind in the sector and provides a major means for sector bodies to find out the information they require to meet stations needs and lobby government on stations’ behalf.
