    History

CAA dates back to May 1903 when a small group of 27 avid, “horseless carriage” owners in Canada banded together and founded the first Canadian Automobile Club, designed to promote and advocate safety for early automobile adopters. CAA remains dedicated to Motorist Safety, both legislatively and as a driving force behind programs designed to keep their members' driving experiences trouble free.
