We are here to help provide a solution to the problem of a decades-long trend -- the deterioration of the downtown business district of our community.
Brighton’s neighborhood business district is no longer the primary provider of goods and services to our community. Our commercial core now suffers from a complicated cycle of disinvestment: with businesses leaving, rental rates slip and property owners have less to invest in their buildings, giving the district a shabby, uncared-for appearance and making it even hard to attract new businesses.
Brighton Main Street businesses need an ally to help them survive and prosper in this changed environment. Our organization believes there is hope for great success because there are trends and assets that currently support rejuvenation of our Main Street.
