- A & L Laboratories was founded in 1971 by Don Ankerman and Richard Large in Memphis, Tennessee to serve the analytical needs of agricultural clients. Their commitment to provide quality analytical services has resulted in an expansion that today includes seven regional laboratories carrying the A & L name that provide analytical services to agriculture and industry across the nation.
- A & L Western Agricultural Laboratories was established in Modesto, California in September 1979. Services and staff have continued to expand since that time.
